This variable rate is only 3.00% above the Main Saving account's nominal rate.     Available Overdraft Protection for RTN Checking Accounts Overdraft protection is available for both Basic and Dividend Checking accounts.  Protects you in the event checks presented for payment exceed the available balance in your account.  guards against checks being returned after available funds in the Main Savings account have already been fully transferred to cover the checks presented.
