RTN Employees Community Outreach
RTN Employees Community Outreach is made up of RTN employees who contribute funds and volunteer to assist local organizations and charities. The initiatives include:
- RTN’s annual “Back to School” school supply and backpack drive
- Collection of Thanksgiving food items for needy families in Waltham, Amesbury and Lawrence
- Collection of non-perishable food items for the Brookline Food Pantry and the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen
- Sponsoring and serving dinner at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen
- Holding an annual toy drive to benefit the Wish Project in Lowell

James A. Burley, Jr. Scholarship
Each year, three college students receive the James A. Burley, Jr. Scholarship, named for RTN’s former chairman and director who served the Credit Union for over 30 years. This essay contest is open only to RTN members or dependents of RTN members. First-place winners receive $5,000; second-place receives $3,000; and third-place receives $2,000.
