GoodWorks Foundation Helps Families in Dorchester and Brookline with $2,100 Donation to ABCD Fuel Assistance

Three households in Dorchester and Brookline will have fuel assistance to heat their homes thanks to a recent $2,100 donation by RTN GoodWorks Foundation.

The Foundation presented the $2,100 check to ABCD’s (Action for Boston Community Development, Inc.) Winter Emergency Campaign and Fuel Assistance Program on April 25.

Donations throughout the year continue to assist families seeking assistance with heating and fuel expenses incurred during the winter season. The check presentation took place at ABCD headquarters in Boston.

The Foundation’s activities and community giving are focused in communities where RTN Credit Union branches are located, including Dorchester and Brookline, with fuel assistance an area of interest. This spring, RTN GoodWorks Foundation is co-sponsoring Walk Home with the Credit Union to help raise funds for homeless teens and families.

We should never take having a warm home for granted. We are delighted to support ABCD in its important mission of ensuring thousands of families in need of fuel assistance don’t go without.
