    Hello,

I am a member of RTN (along with my mother and sister). My nephew is wondering if he is eligible for this scholarship contest. He will be entering college this Fall and has done significant work to help make his community a better place and regularly assists anyone he encounters.

Please let us know if he would count as my dependent.

    Sincerely,
    Danielle Harrell

Hi Danielle: The James A. Burley, Jr. College Scholarship Contest is open to RTN members and their dependents as of April 1, 2019. If your nephew is a dependent of yours (or of your mother or sister who are RTN members), he is eligible. We hold this scholarship contest annually, and if he isn’t eligible for this year’s contest, he can join the Credit Union and enter the 2020 contest. Thank you for contacting us.
