With community involvement a core value at RTN, every day is a giving day.
In honor of Giving Tuesday 2019, the RTN GoodWorks Foundation has made a $500 donation to the Family Health Center of Worcester’s fundraising campaign called “Help Us Build a Clinic at the Mustard Seed to Care for People Experiencing Homelessness.” This project is raising funds to build out space for increased medical care for the homeless in Worcester.
This fall, we donated $20,844 to help homeless teens and families in Danvers, Waltham and Boston. These funds were raised through our annual Walk Home 5K walk to help homeless teens and families.
Throughout the year, our Employee Community Outreach Committee, made up of RTN staff, supports several non-profit organizations and charities in local communities through personal donations and volunteering time.
Charitable giving by RTN so far this year has totaled nearly $60,000. Our Credit Union regularly supports local community projects and initiatives, and works collaboratively with members, sponsor groups and our surrounding communities through financial support and volunteer participation in many ways, large and small.
We thank you for your participation and support.
