If you are interested in finding out more about the process of buying your first home, you are invited to attend first-time home buying seminars this month in Dorchester, Shrewsbury and Waltham. The two-hour sessions are free and open to the public.
Purchasing a home for the first time is one of the most important financial decisions to make. Our goal is to share our knowledge on how to navigate the process so that when the time comes, those who attend will feel better able to make thoughtful, informed decisions.
The seminars, including one being presented in Spanish, will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm. Topics will include how to research a new home, the importance of good credit in financing a home, and the types of financing programs available for first-time home buyers. Attendees will receive a $250 closing credit when taking an RTN mortgage.
The schedule is as follows:
- Thursday March 24, Frohsinn Club, 25 N. Quinsigamond Ave., Shrewsbury
- Wednesday, March 30, RTN Waltham Branch, 600 Main St., Waltham
- Thursday March 31, (in Spanish), RTN Waltham Branch, 600 Main St., Waltham
