RTN Branches Help Those in Need

Supporting local community and helping those in need is a bedrock value at RTN. We live this ideal every day through our support of local community projects, ongoing community activities in our branches, and our involvement in Mass. Credit Union League drives and projects.

RTN branches are busy this March with community events that support local organizations. The Amesbury Branch is participating in a food drive to benefit Our Neighbor’s Table, a local food bank. RTN is one of ten area institutions that will be collecting non-perishable food items for Our Neighbors’ Table.

RTN is participating in Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program’s 10th Annual Sock Drive.  During the month of March, RTN is collecting new white socks and rubber flip flops that will be distributed to homeless people to help reduce the risk of skin infections, prevent frostbite, and foster good hygiene in this vulnerable population. Donations can be dropped off at RTN branches in Brookline, Danvers, Dorchester Lower Mills, Marlborough, and Waltham.

The Tewksbury Branch is holding its third annual Baby Essentials Collection Drive to benefit The Wish Project, which helps those in need in the Merrimack Valley. Items being collected include disposable diapers, baby food, infant toys, new or used baby clothing, and other baby products. Items can be dropped off at the Tewksbury Branch, which supports the Wish Project year-round through various drives and volunteer activities.

Thanks to the generosity of our staff and members!
