RTN Celebrates Financial Literacy Month

April is Financial Literacy Month.

RTN offers financial education seminars throughout the year for all ages and stages of life. So far in 2017, RTN has shared financial literacy tools with 369 people. Highlights of our financial education activities include:

  • Regularly scheduled seminars in branches, in the workplace of our Select Employee Groups’ (SEGs), and in partnership with community organizations
  • Coordinated with a Waltham High School teacher to present financial education seminars to his business classes this semester
  • Eighteen young people ages 14 to 17 attended a Basics of Money Management seminar held in early February at the Waltham Boys & Girls Club
  • Sponsorship of Health Fairs at Waltham Schools – at Plympton Elementary School on April 7 and Waltham High School on May 5

RTN’s ongoing commitment to financial wellness stems from our mission as a Credit Union to help our members be financially successful.

We hope to see you at an upcoming seminar and look forward to providing you with knowledge to take control of your financial life.
