Financial Education – Take Charge of Your Life

Financial decisions, large and small, occur at every stage throughout life. RTN offers complimentary financial seminars as part of its focus to give you the tools you need to make smart financial decisions.

Financial education is part of our mission as a Credit Union to help our members be financially successful. All seminars are held virtually, so you can join us wherever you work or from the comfort of your home using your computer, laptop or mobile device.

Along with our great products and services, our seminars reflect our commitment to connect with you as a trusted resource for your financial needs.

Registration is required for all seminars, as space is limited. Seminars may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance. In case of cancellation, participants will be notified.

First-Time Home Buyers

Presented by the MVCU Mortgage Department

Those thinking about buying their first home will find out the steps needed to achieve home ownership, including how to find a first home, why good credit is important for financing and what types of first-time home buyer mortgages and programs are available. A closing cost credit is available for anyone who is a first-time home buyer and is not tied to seminar attendance. There are restrictions based on the loan type.
